Hello Kitty Fauxnad plates and Nail Art Supplies Haul!

My Hello Kitty Fauxnad Stamping Plates have finally arrived - yippee! Thanks to the lovely rmccandlelight (for providing the site to order these from) I now have my plates!!!

The above plates come in a set of all 6.  The website where these can be ordered is:

The Price is so reasonable as well and since I was ordering these I decided to get some other nail art supplies as well.  Everything was so cheap :)
Here are the other things I ordered as well.

These are oval shaped gems and I always think these are perfect for highlighting and creating flowers. So many colors as well!

Traditional Round Rhinestones

A Larger sized Round Rhinestone

Random Fun Shapes (half pieces so they lay flat)

Pearls in silver and gold (these are extra tiny but would work awesome for detailed nail work)

And Rhinestone Stars (my Favorite type of rhinestone)

Remember you can click on any of the pictures above to get a closer look! I hope you enjoyed this type of post.  I usually do not do Haul pictures, but I was so excited about these I couldn't help not to lol.

I leave for vacation in 2 days so I will try squeezing in pictures of these items in use before I take off.  I will do my best.

Thanks for visiting today!

EDITED: the pictures do not do these rhinestones justice they sparkle sooo MUCH and that's always an issue for me when I buy them elsewhere. They are usually real poor quailty and flat looking, but these are really great and sparkle so much!

Smitten with Mittens in Daylight :)

As promised, here are the pictures I took this morning of OPI's Smitten with Mittens in the Sunlight.  If you missed last nights post (pictures of it indoors) check out yesterday's post Smitten with Mittens and Memorial Day

Here it is in Bright Sunlight - It's a stunner.  The pictures do not do it justice.

I also took this in a bit more shaded area as I felt that the complexity of this polish really shows better that way.

It's so packed full of goodness :)

HOLLY MOLLY lol This is just to die for! Check out the deep dimensions in this polish. Click the picture to make it larger (you won't be sorry lol). This picture really shows off it's true beauty.

I hope you enjoyed this and I hope everyone is having a great week.  I'm hoping to post more soon, but Saturday I leave for a week vacation *Happy Dance*.  I'm headed to the Lake of the Ozarks and I'm excited.  I got a beautiful Condo there that I plan on enjoying every bit of it. It also has a giant jet tub and I plan on taking as many bubble baths as I can lol.  Guess I'm going to have to stock up on my LUSH! :)

Be back soon....

Smitten with Mittens and Memorial Day

My Memorial Day was quite hectic.  I went to the Movies and then I had a family gathering (like many of us must have had as well today), so this post is very late :) Better late than never, right?!

I wanted to do something more intricate to honor our brave Heroes for today, but I just didn't get around to it. Time was so limited. To make things easy I figured I would go with a basic red sparkle. I grabbed for Smitten with Mittens.  I totally think this is a gorgeous Polish, it wasn't as bright red as I wanted (more on the deep wine red color in most lightening), but it did the job :) in bright sunlight it does show as very sparkly bright red.

These pictures where taken indoors (as it's dark out already, and best I could do).

I'm not the greatest at applying red polish and this is basically a mess. This is 3 coats with a top coat. I slapped this on as I was running out of the door so it's probably the fastest mani I ever did in my life lol. I was headed out to see Sex in The City 2 (which I LOVED) and I just didn't have enough time for a perfect application.

The color is gorgeous on this one!

The only odd thing about this polish is in the bottle there is a very prominent gold glitter, but on the nail this does not show (at least not indoors out of sunlight).  It looks like a deep red glitter on the nail.

I know I see gold in there - do you? lol :)

Tomorrow when I can be out in bright sunlight, (which I didn't have today), I will take more pictures. I will post those tomorrow and give your the Outdoor sunlight perspective.  Stay tuned :) Hope you all had a great Memorial Day and I send out many prayers and blessings to all our war vets out there.

Thanks for visiting

Old School Sally Hansen Swatches

As promised, here are the swatches from my 'Old School' Sally Hansen Dollar Tree Hard as Nails Polish collection.  I took too many pictures, but I can never help myself, and I always take too many pictures *Grins innocently*

Okay enough of my yap yap :) and on to the Swatches.  To recap, here are the polishes I will be swatching today.

(Left to Right: Magnet, Radar, Diamond Dust and Cyber)

Now for the swatches! First up is Magnet

This is 3 coats.  I loved the formula on these glitters, especially since they are so OLD! I did use 3 drops of thinner in each to make sure I didn't get any globbers, and I think it did the trick.

This is such a gorgeous blue and all the sparkles are so YUM!!

Next Up is Radar

This is also 3 coats and it is a gorgeous wine ....did I mention the sparkles!!!

Are you drooling yet? I past drooling awhile ago lol.

Next up is Cyber

Yes Yes, I know - YUCK? This was not exactly what I expected of this polish.  I was hoping that it was more true to the bottle color like Magnet and Radar were. It's too much of a puke yellowish green.  I decided in order for this to look more like the bottle I added my own touch and layered it over my Favorite Green - OPI Greenwich Village.

Hahhhh.....So Much Better - Less Pukey Green :)

This color always makes me Happy

Pretty Pretty Pretty!!! Don't forget to check out the sparkles!
(you can click on the pictures to enlarge them)

and....

Wait for it....

Wait for it....

Finally *drum roll please* is Diamond Dust

First I would NEVER wear this alone, It makes my nails look stained and they really aren't lol.  Plus This is more of a top coat in my book, but I wanted you to see the true color and GLITTER and HOLO ....Yippee!

I changed the lightening up in these pictures so you can see the Holo effect. I blurred several shots so you can see it's true beauty and glory!

Lovely, just pure LOVE! It reminds me of an old 80's Disco Ball. These polishes take me back to my high school days :) It's like having a time machine and being able to warp back in time LOL.

I Hope you guys liked the swatches today and I hope everyone has a fun exciting weekend ahead. Let me know which is your favorite!

Til next time.....CIAO all
