Haywire!

Prize Won

Several weeks ago I entered a Facebook giveaway at Lush Lacquer, and I won! I was given a choice of choosing a polish from there new Neon line. I decided on Haywire. This Spring/Summer it seems Neons are so very popular again and taking over.

This is a super pretty milky based polish with lots of neon glitter.
It really is a fun unique polish, I don't have anything like this in my collection now. This is three coats with two coats of SV (Seche Vite) Top Coat.

It's described on the Lush Lacquer Etsy Store as:

Haywire is wild, flirty, funky and fun!! It has a milky white opaque base. (the white base in this polish takes on a faint pink hue in the pictures here and in the bottle, but the base goes on the nail as white). This polish has a great amount of bright neon colors scattered throughout it! We use hexes and short bar glitters of different sizes in this beauty. We have neon pink, neon yellow, neon green, neon orange, neon purple and neon blue scattered throughout this color combination. This combo really packs a punch!

As you can see in my pictures, I have that pinkish hue in my base too, and it's like that in real life as well. I can't tell if it's just because there is so much glitter packed in this and it gives it the illusion the base is not pure white, or if there are other issues with it. Either way, it is really pretty.

Thank you for visiting, and make sure you enter my new giveaway over on Facebook. The link for the giveaway is HERE. I am giving away one pack of Joby Nail Art Stickers that I reviewed HERE.

What do you guys think? Are you all getting into the Neon thing? I am really tempted to go all out Neon and order me some Ice Neon Model's Own polishes.

Indie Spotlight: Lush Lacquer Party Rockin!

I know, I know, I can hear you guys now, 'another indie polish'. Yes!!! I'm currently obsessed with them at the moment lol. At first I just thought they all looked like bad glitter bombs, and after I tried them - I WAS HOOKED hahaha.

I have been so excited about receiving this! Unfortunately my first bottle came broken :( and I finally received my replacement bottle this weekend *happy dance*! This is Lush Lacquer's Party Rockin. This is a gorgeous glitter packed polish in a very light blue tint clear coat. For today I layered if over American Apparel Peacock.

Did I mention this polish is gorgeous?!!! My camera struggled getting a good picture because this is glitter on steroids LOL! This is probably the most glitter packed polish that I own, and really love it.  If you are wanting to order a Lush Lacquer polish and can't decide which polish to start with - this is it!

With one coat of SV this is smooth as glass, you wouldn't think so with so much glitter packed in this polish. This can also be worn over basically any color base color. I almost ordered this in a mini and now so glad I got the full size bottle  - I need to try this over EVERY color lol :)

What do you guys think of this one? Let me know. Thanks so much for visiting and I hope you all are having a happy weekend.

Indie Spotlight: 4th of July Nails - Lush Lacquer Snap Crackle POP :)

Here is my first polish for this week for the 4th of July. Last year I ordered too late and I didn't have the polishes I wanted for the 4th, this year I planned ahead and ordered in early June lol.  I'm now doing this for any holiday polishes I want.

This is one coat of RBL Dead Calm topped with one coat of Lush Lacquer's Snap Crackle Pop. This ended up being a PERFECT combo. I was so happy how this turned out. I was giddy with the results lol.

I'm so thrilled and happy that I ordered this. I had never seen it before, but I had a good feeling about it. I was so right on with this one. It has a combo of large blue and white hex glitter, smaller red hex glitter, red and white bar glitter, red white and blue micro glitter. It is like an explosive firework on your fingertips!

I'm excited about rocking this on my nails the next couple of day! I have a different polish for Wednesday the 4th, and now I am not sure I can take this one off lol.

One thing I love about Lushlacquer is her Etsy shop is always stocked, but be aware it takes 2-3 weeks to receive your polish - so plan ahead!

I hope you guys like. Thanks for visiting and please leave me links to your 4th nails. I would love to see!
