Candy Corn Flowers?

Tonight I have a super amazing polish from Candy Lacquer. This one is Candy Corn FLOWERS :)

It has super fun Flower shaped glitters in it, which I love. I did not individually place the glitters either. This is just how they brushed on! This was a super amazing formula. I layered it over Manglaze Matte is Murder.

I got on a Mate kick this week and applied it to this polish as well. The shiny top coat version was just not making me happy lol. I used Hard Candy Matte top coat, one of my favorites but unfortunately discontinued. I hope to never run out of it lol.
Please excuse the Horrible condition of my hands tonight. The hubby and I did some SERIOUS brush clearing in our backyard (the weather has been so nice) and I beat up my poor hands. An area we have been meaning to clear for ages now. I think after the Halloween Swatch-a-thon is over I'm going to have to rest my fingers hahaha :)

This is 2 coats of Matte is Murder covered with 2 dabbed on coats of CCF, topped off with a Matte Top Coat. This always happens with Matte Top Coat with me. I don't touch it for long periods of times, and then when I do I can not stop using it. It's almost Halloween here, but have no fear. I will have one more Halloween Polish up tomorrow evening before my Halloween Swatch-a-Thon ends. I hope all you trick-or-treaters out there stay safe and have a blast collecting candy. I'm looking forward to my trick-or-treaters...Candy Treat Bags are stuffed filled with fun toys and candies!

A little matte :)

Tonight I have a fun polish to share with all of you. This is a polish that is just a perfect addition to my Halloween Swatch-a-thon.

This is 2 coats of Matte is Murder by Manglaze, with Rainbow Polish's Pumpkin Smashing layered over it. At first glance I disliked it (with the shiny top coat) Sorry I didn't take a picture with the shiny top coat. After staring at it for a certain period of time, I realized I could use a Matte top coat. I'm usually the QUEEN of Matte polish,  so it shocked me to think it's been well over a year maybe since I used a matte top coat last.

I'm in love with how this combo came out! Matte Top coat is a great way to really change things up.

I hope you all liked this one. It really made me feel in the spirit of Halloween!!!

Spooky Hoochie Halloween Swatch-a-thon continues...Trelly's Witches in the Sky

The last post I showed you all was a polish that was HTF (I know I know, people hate that), but tonight I have something you CAN find!

This is an AMMMMMMAZZZING polish. I layered it over Manglaze's Butt Taco (lol...always love saying that haha!).

I bet this would look CRAZY BEAUTIFUL with a Matte Top Coat. Of course my favorite part is the Moon Glitters (see pinky nail above). FUN FUN FUN.

Now you can see why Trelly's is one of my favorite brands of my collection!!

Born Pretty Store Stud Manicure!

Press Sample Purchased by Me

I been seeing a lot of stud manicures around lately, so tonight I decided to attempt one myself. This is what I came up with. Now, this is by no means perfect, but it sure was fun!

Here are the polishes I used...

L to R - Orly Shine, Manglaze Matte is Murder, Manglaze Mayo, Zoya Pixiedust Solange.

(The Manglaze and Orly polishes were purchased by me.)

The studs are from an amazing set available at The Born Pretty Store.

The set includes nail glue, 2 wheels of studs, 1 wheel of rhinestones and a package of several orange sticks. This entire set retails for $12.99 USD!! What an amazing price.

Please note: I did not use the nail glue for my manicure, unfortunately in my attempt to use it the bottle spilled and there was nothing left of it. Instead, I placed my studs into my polish while it was still wet and everything nicely stuck in place.

The stud surfaces are usually shiny, but I wanted a matte finish for everything, so I topped everything off with China Glaze's Matte Magic. I love how the studs mattified!

The variety of shapes and sizes included in this set are pretty mind blowing. There is so much to choose from. I just scratched the surface with a few in my manicure. The set also includes diamond, rectangle and star shapes as well. There is a great mix of gold and silver and the rhinestones come in fun color.

You can let your creativity go wild with this set. I highly recommend owning this if you are into nail art.

Untried No. 4 - Manglaze Matte is Murder & Salley Hansen Diamond Dust.

I found this beauty several years back in a Dollar Tree. Yes, you heard me correctly a Dollar Tree. I paid 1$ for this, and it was an amazing find!

I know I have heard many of us say that our Dollar Tree's never have anything good, well mine was the same way. I went time after time, hoping one day something magical would show up. Then, it happened. I stumbled upon this, and some others SH glitters. I've never found anything good there since. Maybe one day I will again, and maybe I won't lol.

*Essie Fill The Gaps base coat
*2 coats of Manglaze Matte is Murder
*1 coat of Sally Hansen Diamond Dust
*2 coats Gelous
*1 coat Poshe top coat

This was very tough to film indoors under artificial light. Tomorrow when the sun breaks out I'm going to try and photograph it again and post them here.

I bet tomorrow in the sunlight this thing is going to be stunning!

Thanks for Visiting on another Untried Saturday.

EDITED:

Here's a picture of it in the daylight outside.

ManGlaze Swatches

I finally took the plunge and purchased some ManGlaze polishes, and I'm so glad I did. These polishes are AMAZING!

First up is Mayonnaise or Mayo. This is now my new favorite white in my collection.

This was two coats.

The texture on this was awesome. It applied really easily.

I also added a top coat and this is where this polish just explodes with goodness.

Check out the sparkly goodness that comes out once you apply a top coat.

Next up is Butt Taco. The name on this one really makes me laugh. I love how fresh and edgy ManGlaze is.

This is simply gorgeous in Matte form.

Next is with top coat.

This is when I really got excited. I never realized these polishes had all this hidden goodness in them.

Finally is Matte is Murder. This is the perfect matte black in my opinion.

Next is with top coat. With top coat there are no words to describe how outrageous this is.

This was so gorgeous I had to keep it on. There was no way I was taking this off lol.

I hope you guys liked these. I will definitely be purchasing more of these. They are just so fabulous.

Also on a side note thier customer service is the bomb! I had a mix up with my package and within 10 minutes of my email with concerns I got a call from Marc from ManGlaze. He was so helpful and so on it. I drove the man crazy thinking my polishes where missing. He handled my hysteria quite well, as I was close to hysterics when I thought my new babies were lost. I was talking real fast and like a cray polish nut that sniffs polish fumes or somethin' hahahaha. He was super sweet and super nice. My silly mail man dropped them at the wrong house. Thank God for good ole mid-westerners and there honesty of returning things. In New York that box would have been GONE and never seen again. If I was brave enough to approach my neighbor asking for a missing package, she would have said she didn't have them as she sported Butt Taco on her toes and fingers, threatening to cut me lol :P

I will be buying more of thier polishes (not only for thier beauty) but for there top notch customer service. Seems like a great company to be tossing my paychecks to LOL!!
