Hare The Monster!!!

Tonight I have The Monster by Hare. This is one of those polish that took stalking the restock to get. It was sold out literally in seconds off the Hare shop restock sale (last year) for me to get it, and I'm still shocked I was able to grab it in time.

I know that showing polishes you can no longer get upset some people, but than I wouldn't have anything to swatch here lol.  A lot of my collection is HTF's (especially in the indie brands I own), and I hope you enjoy me sharing them with you.

I'm not sure if this is a Halloween polish per say, but it does remind me of Frankenstein when I see it. I figured it would fit right in with other Halloween polishes. It's a very dusty teal color with very small black and blue/green iridescent glitters. the glitters are sand like.

Lately this has been my new favorite color. The whole Minty color thing. It's an older trend, but I'm still loving and it still works for me!

I was disappointed some with this polish when I first applied it because I thought this wouldn't need a base color. I tried to build it up to opaque in 3 coats...it wasn't bad and you could get away doing that, but it was too 'lumpy' for me. In the end I just decided to layer it over Essie's Greenport.

I have 2 coats of Essie Greenport with 2 coats of The Monster on top of that.  It's slightly gritty, so I suggest you use a regular top coat with one layer of Seche Vite over everything. That should smooth things it right out.

I'm loving this!. Do any of you own this one? What are your thoughts. Leave your comments below, I would love to hear what you guys think of this one.

Hare Bisbee

Tonight's post is going to be slightly lacking in pictures.  I've been in Chicago since Friday, and this is the first time I was close enough to my PC to do a post.

I decided to wear Hare Bisbee for my trip. I have had this polish for awhile now, and I finally got to use it. It's a teal color. I originally wanted to call this polish turquoise, but it is more green than it is blue. In some lights it leans more green and other darker lighting it leans more bluish green. I count this as a blue for April Autism Awareness month here on the blog. I know I'm stretching it with this color, but my other April polishes will be more true blue for future posts :)

One pictures is all I got :) YUP, just one lol. Not my usual barrage of pictures. This polish only really needs just one picture. It is gorgeous in a bottle.

I get a sea, mermaid scales feel from this polish - I LOVE IT. The gold glitters are really unique as well. The color in this picture is pretty accurate for the lighting I was in.

Hope you guys like this, and I will be back soon with some of my haul stuff from Chicago!

Asteroid Turf Take 2 - Matte

Purchased by Me

Tonight is a short post. I have to be up super early in the morning for work, so I am going to make this post short. Please see the original post on this polish for all the details HERE. I promised you guys Hare's Asteroid Turf in Matte and here it is......

How beautiful is this?!!!!!

I used Hard Candy Matte top coat. This polish is just pure amazing in a matte finish.

Not ever polish can be made into Matte, and this polish seems like it was made for it.

This is pure gorgeous. I love how glitter polish look once the Matte top coat is applied. It's almost like a whole different polish.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!

Hare Asteroid Turf

Purchased by Me

At this point I will do whatever it takes to help bring on Spring! Yesterday for the first day of Spring we had snow showers. Sunday we are expecting a winter type snow storm, and there is talk of 7-12 inches! I am so ready for Spring!

I decide to wear Hare's Asteroid Turf.  This polish has always reminded me of Spring time. It's a pretty grass green with pink/purplish hex glitters. It's so very simple, but also so very pretty. I purchased this awhile back, and very pleased to finally being able to wear it. I'm going to keep it on for work tomorrow.

It reminds me of Easter eggs laying in the grass. The plastic grass that you place in Easter baskets.

This is 3 coats on it's own, and it is a jelly type base. It's topped with NYC Grand Central Station and Seche Vite Top Coats.

Maybe if I wear this for today and tomorrow, the snow will go away :)

The formula on this was gloopy and thick for me. I did use a fair amount of thinner in the bottle, and I still struggled with the formula. It was not perfect, but it sure is beautiful.

I'm going to wear this one day and then apply a matte top coat. I will post my matte version when I can.

If you love Hare polishes, this is a must have one. I hope everyone in the path of this new storm stays warm and safe!

Dog Day Dream

Hi Guys,

I have a polish for you guys tonight that is A-MAZING!!!! :) I wanted something pink and red for Valentine's Day week. Since my hubby has been sick, I had to place my Valentine's Day Polish order(s)LATE, so for the beginning of this week I had to just make do with polishes already in my stash. I shopped my stash and came up with Hare's Dog Day Dream. The colors were exactly what I was looking for. Pink, Red, Purple...so amazing you just have to see it to ubderstand it's true beauty.

I wore this for Kelly's heart procedure, Monday. I wanted something bright and pretty to look at to help keep me positive and calm instead of freaking out, which I kind of did anyways.

The night before when I did this mani, it really did help to calm me and it helped me to focus as well. I was less nervous about everything that was going to happen Monday. Let me introduce you to the wonderful and stunning Hare's Dog Day Dream. This is 3 coats all on it's own. I really loved that I didn't have to layer this. I was doing a lot to prep things for Kelly the night before we went to the Hospital, so this had to be fast and effortless, and just what I needed in a hectic time.

I love how it came out. I see why everyone raves about Hare's so much, this one was lovely!!!

Perfect to kick off Valentine's Day Mani's :)

Today I got my order of Valentine's Day polishes so those will be posted next, stay tuned. Also, don't forget to enter my 900 followers/likes Giveaway. You can enter here...GIVEAWAY LINK
