Candy Lacquer Spring Fever ...In Summer :)

I have had this polish sitting around in my collection since the Spring, and before Fall starts, I wanted to use it. I can get away using it in the Summer, but I don't think it would work well with the Fall so much.

I paired Spring Fever with Sation's Loudest Color. I wanted bright and wild. I think I achieved that exact thing...

Loudest color is a fabulous neon yellowish greenish polish (yes, adding 'ish' to the end of a word makes a real word, I promise lol). It leans more towards green(ish). I did have to do 3 coats of it to get it opaque, so use thin thin layers if you decide to duplicate this look.

I knew the combo would be great.

 I know I know, It is WAY past Spring time lol, but better late than never :)  I figured before it's Fall - I would get it done!

I love how the large purple dot glitters and pink butterfly glitters complement the neon. This one is not for the faint of heart.

Trelly's M.I.S.C. Flip Flops and Tank Tops Swatches

This polish is from Trelly's M.I.S.C. and is part of her Summer collection for 2013. Before the Fall gets here (lol), as it seems to be approaching FAST, I am trying to get my Summer polishes (and some Spring polishes) swatched for the month of August.  I'm hoping to do as many as I can.

This one is SPECTACULAR.

FLIP FLOP & TANK TOPS

 I decided to pair this with black. The base color is 2 coats of Wet n Wild Black. I wanted the neon colors to really pop, and against the black they look fabulous and really come to life.

I didn't place any glitters on this one, just brushed and dabbed it on as I do most of my glitter bombs.

Trelly's M.I.S.C is definitely one of my top favorite Indie Polishes (outside of Candy Lacquer). Cassie comes up with the best glitter shapes and color combos! I just love her style. Sometimes I feel like she makes these polishes just for me (hehehe) :)

This polish has a nice hidden surprise too. Look at the amazing micro glitters in it. It adds so much texture to my plain creme black nail polish base. Here is a close up (below).

Zoya Cashmere Swatches

As promised this is the next new set to expect this Fall 2013 from Zoya. This is the Cashmere Collection. 

If you are big into cremes, this set is a must have for you. The quality of these cremes are so impressive and surpass 90% of my other cremes that I own. The formula is top notch!

These are all ONE coat. Yes you heard me right, ONE COAT each!!!!...is that not to die for or what?! This collection is worth it for that alone. I could  have used 2 coats, but these polishes are so pigmented I didn't feel they needed a second coat. I was floored by the flawless coverage. 

FLYNN

First up, is the nude from this collection. I love this color. It's not a match to my skin tone, but it offsets my pale coloring really well. Everyone will want at least this color from the collection. Must have collection color here.

This is a perfect work appropriate nude for those that can't wear color at the workplace.

It went on very smooth with only 1 coat is shown here. I love how smooth and glossy these polishes are. The texture and consistancy is spot on for these. This is like a comfortable pair of Khakis.

LOUISE

This is the PERFECT chocolate brown color. I am one of those odd people  that happen to LOVE browns. Not many are fans of brown, but this one will change your mind for sure. It's like dipping your fingers in a vat of chocolate sauce.

 This one looks even darker in less bright lighting. Look how deep and dark it gets just by changing to darker lighting.

I love love this, and I think you will too. I brightened the light up and look how light it gets. It's fabulous!!!

NEXT UP...

HUNTER

Another beautiful green, and what a perfect name lol.

I love it and I am thrilled as a green lover to have one this Deep and pigmented. This also gets VERY deep and dark in darker lighting. It's like if Nars Zulu went creme (not as dark tho). Here is is in a darker lighting and it gets even darker. I had some lighting during the day today that almost made it look black green.

Another beauty...

SAILOR

This is a really pretty blue with a hint of purple. Blue colors are very hard to photo. I feel it will be the demise of me one day lol. 

 Here it is in darker lighting (below) and I feel the best representation of the color (the best my camera would allow for). In darker lighting this polish gets black blue colors.

PEPPER

This is my favorite of the entire collection. This is like a Terra Cotta pot color with added red. 

 This is what it looks like in a bright light (below).

In darker lighting, like shown below, it takes on it's true color of wonderful...It's very unique and I do't have another color like this. I suggestion this as another MUST have from this collection.

Finally last ...

LIVINGSTON

A really pretty red in this collection. This is the perfect red.

For one coat is was LOVELY!!!

I know this seems like a typical boring red, but it's not. So bright and *Cough Cough* a ONE coat application :) Need I say more?

Zoya Fall Pixie Dusts!! Swatches.

Today, a little late, but here is the Zoya's Fall Pixie Dusts. I was really excited to see these, because I had no idea of the true colors from just the promo pictures. Saying I was anxious for these to arrive is an understatement.

  

Let's take a closer look at each.....

Once I received them, I can say that Zoya has outdone itself once again! The colors are so much deeper and brighter than I could imagine. 

On to the swatches so you guys can judge for yourselves....

TOMOKO

This one was slightly tough to capture in color. In the bottle it looks more white, but once it's on the nail it takes on a gold color. It's gorgeous and very classic looking. I am not a fan of light colors, I tend to stay away from them. This is not one of the ones I will avoid lol. It is gorgeous and I can see this paired with a little black dress perfectly!!!

It flashes and is sparkly like the other Pixie Dust polishes, and this one does NOT disappoint.

I think this color will be one of the popular ones of the set, because it will bring in those that love light colors as well of those that like deep dark colors, like myself. 

SUNSHINE

Okay this one is a little confusing with it's name. It's called Sunshine, but it's Blue ????? Hmmm, interesting lol. Not exactly what I would have named this polish, but it is still gorgeous! 

I'm a big fan of dark colors, and this is no exception. This is so stunning!! The one thing I love about this polish, that missed the mark with Zoya Liberty, is this one did not stain my nails blue. A BIG thank you to Zoya for fixing the issue with this 'blue'. 

I see myself wearing this one a lot!

It was easy to apply and no hassle with the removal. NO STAINING!!!

CHITA

For those of you that follow me, you know I love green. Well this one is my FAVORITE!!! I have been anxious for a deep green pixie dust, and it has arrived! If you like green polishes than this is a must have for your collection.

This is a prefect emerald green for the Fall. Thank you Zoya for making this one! 

DHARA

GORGEOUS!!! Firey orange with a gorgeous gold shimmer. 

If your wanting a blast of color for the Fall that is bright, this is it.

I will be taking this one out for Halloween, it would be perfect for Oct. 31st!

ARABELLA

This one has such a prety name. I sometimes feel Zoya is running out of ideas on names lol, but this one is so pretty. 

A lot of you may be concerned that this color is too similar to Zoya Miranda, but this is much deeper and darker. They are very different. 

It's such a nice deep magenta color for the Fall. Zoya really brings on the feeling of Fall with these polishes.

CARTER

This one was strange for me. All the other polishes are 1 coat, and this one definitely needed two coats. As you can above, I was impatient and I didn't allow the polish to dry completely and the tips of each nail still look wet. With 2 coats of Pixie Dusts you HAVE to be patient, unlike myself, and wait for it to dry to achieve an even looking texture.

It's a gorgeous deep amethyst color and purple lovers will rejoice when they see this one lol.
