Dollish Polish Go Luigi

Tonight is the last polish in my Dollish Polish Mario Swatch Marathon. I'm so sad it's at the end! If you would like to see the whole Dollish Polish Mario collection click HERE.

This one is a CRAZY AMAZING polish. My jaw dropped when I saw how it was turning out. I want to marry this bottle of polish :P

I started out with 2 coats of Milani Key West. This polish is a must have for ever collection. The shimmer is so kick butt on this lol. I tried to capture the shimmer and these pics do not do it justice. Multiple the shiny holiness x 1000. The color was a tough one to photograph too. It's a tad more greenish blue. It started like this...

The glitters are so bright and sparkly. It has GORGEOUS green and blue hex glitters, with star glitter scattered throughout.

The pictures speak for themselves...

I did have to place the star glitters, but they easy stuck to the brush with a quick stir here and there.

If you don't like the star glitters you can easy leave them out. This reminded me of a mermaid nails.

Thank so much for following along with me each evening for the last week. I had a blast swatching these all. I hope you guys all enjoyed it as much as I did.

Dollish Polish Wicked Wario

Evening everyone :) I hope everyone is having a nice evening, and for those of you who are in the path of Hurricane Isaac my prayers are with you and your families to stay safe.

Also, we are SOOOOO close to 400 followers here. That means it is almost giveaway time!!! Stay tuned for that...

I also wanted to thank all the many new followers I picked up on ThePolishHoochie Facebook page. I'm loving showing you guys nail mail and much more there.

Tonight we are at the second to the last polish in the Dollish Polish Mario Collection Swatch Marathon! It's coming close to the end of this swatchaton.

Tonight is Wicked Wario! I have this thing about layering purple glitters over green. It really makes the deep purples pop with excitement. This is 2 coats of Essie Mojito Madness with 2 coats of Wicked Wario.

The glitters in this are super pretty, there is super fine purple and green micro glitter, white square glitter and gold hex glitter. I love the touch of gold in this one. These colors remind me of Mardi Gras. How fun is that?!

Wario was my favorite character in the Mario Games lol.  This is really one of my favorites in this collection as well. Can you say LOVE:)

I did have to place the white glitters, but they easily stuck to the brush with stirring. I didn't want too many of them on the nail, but you can add more of course. I love how these polishes (depending on base color choice and thickness of application) have a unique look on each person.

This one was so sparkly on the nail. I hate to have to take this off so soon.

Thanks so much for visiting! Stay tuned for tomorrow night and the final polish in the series!

Dollish Polish 1-UP

As promised here is the next polish in the Dollish Polish Mario Collection swatch Marathon.

Please note this is my second post today - If you would like to see my earlier post on Bath and Body Works Halloween Pocket Anti Bac Mini lotions click Here.

Tonight I used Dollish Polish 1-UP.
I turned it into a Halloween polish lol.  This is 3 coats of Orly Crush on You, which I picked up last night at Sally's for .75 cents! I wasn't passing that up :) with 2 coats of 1-UP.

The Orly did dry a bit darker than I would have liked, but it's still perfect for the Fall and for Halloween Indies.

The glitters in this polish are pretty straight forward. There are green hex glitters and super fine green micro glitters (love that part), white large hex glitters, smaller white square glitters, and white bar glitters.

I'm also going to layer this over white for New York football JETS games. It's the perfect polish for that! My two favorite things in one polish HALLOWEEN and JETS FOOTBALL lol.

Like I mentioned earlier, this as some really amazing super fine green micro glitter. You can see it best in my close ups. It really is pretty!

I will definitely be using this polish a lot. The formula was amazing (I did thin it) and the glitters went on pretty easily.

I'm so impressed with these polishes, and this particular collection. According to the Dollish Polish Facebook page, this set will available again sometime in  the Fall. I suggest if you can, to purchase the whole set. I believe it's very affordable in mini size, and bit more of a wallet buster in full size.

Thanks for visiting and stay tuned tomorrow evening for the next polish. I have 2 left in the series.

Dollish Polish Toad-ally Awesome.

Tonight the Dollish Polish Marathon is continuing with polish #5 here at TPH. If you want to see any of the polishes in the Dollish Polish Mario Collection that you may have missed up to this point, just click here. Tonight's polish is Toad-ally Awesome.

This is the perfect name for this polish, because it is AWESOME!! This is 3 coats of Essence Pool Party and 2 coats of Toad-ally Awesome.

The Essense Pool Party started like this ...

This is a perfect blue with the most gorgeous visible shimmer in it. It really reminds me of pool water lol. I then added 2 coats of The Toad-ally Awesome

The glitters in this are so fun. You have white hex glitter in small, medium and large, white small square glitter, red hex glitter, blue square glitter and super fine glitter, and small gold square glitter...
KA POW!!! :)

This is another must have. I know I have said that about all of them so far, but it is true. This is the tops as far as full collections go - you need all of them!

There are a lot of red white and blue polishes out there, but this one adds that small touch of gold.
STUNNING!!

I ran to Bath and Body works after I did this and the girls there all complimented my nails :)

Thanks for visiting. Tomorrow night the Mario Collection swatch marathon will continue so stayed tuned!.

Don't forget to follow me on Facebook. I post all my nail mail bottle spam there and much more things  that are not show here.

Dollish Polish The Koopa King

Tonight is the continuation of my Dollish Polish Mario Collection Swatch Marathon. Tonight's polish is The Koopa King. This one is a BEAUTY!!!

This is 2 coats of Wet and Wild Black layered with two coats of The Koopa King. I did thin The Koopa King, but as you all know I do this with all Indies :) I'm a thinner maniac lol.

This polish has an awesome mix of glitters. It has gold (beautiful gold) glitter in both larger hex and micro glitter, holo silver glitter in diamond shaped glitter and hex, red glitter in large and small hex and square glitter, green glitter in large and small hex, black bar glitter, and white small round glitter. So much it's difficult to list it all lol. Are you lost yet? I'm sure I missed some - there are that many!!!! I have to say this a MUST HAVE from the Mario Collection.

I have a confession .....I rushed this mani, because I had a local hometown high school football game to go to tonight :) so this was a 10 minute mani lol. We lost by 2 points in the last 3 seconds of the game - UGH!!!

I had a ton of compliments on this mani. The girls that were taking the money for admission at the football game all oooh'd and ahhh'd at it, and the friends I met up with all loved it too. It was fabulous, and it was hard to pay attention to the game with this awesome manicure sparkling away on my fingers.

I hope you guys enjoyed tonight's post, and please stay tuned tomorrow night for the next polish in this awesome collection!!!

(Edit: Sorry for a lot of GLARE om my pics, as mentioned earlier this was a 10 minute mani and a 5 second photo shoot lol).

Dollish Polish Dino-mite Yoshi

Hi guys, I'm back with the third polish from My Dollish Polish Mario Swatch Marathon. For everyone's convenience I added the label Dollish Polish Mario Collection on the bottom left sidebar so you can go back and see any that you have missed from the collection.

Tonight I have Dino-mite Yoshi for you all. This is probably the polish I anticipated most from this collection.

This is 3 coats of Chine Glaze Tree Hugger with 3 coats of Dino-mite Yoshi. These were all very thin coats, so it's not super thick on the nail. I also added thinner to this polish, but I do all my Indies now. I love customizing them to the consistency that I like.

The glitters in this polish are mind blowing...Gold, Green, Red, Hexagonal, Square and micro glitter....A BEAUTY!!!

This one reminds me a bit of Christmas lol. I will be adding this to my end of year polishes for the Holidays. It's Me Mario was perfect for the 4th of July and the Olympics, Peachy Princess would be great for Valentine's Day, and this one is perfect for Christmas. I love that some of this collection has dual Holiday usage....AWESOME!!!

This polish did NOT disappoint!

I hope you guys like it. It's pure LOVE for me. Don't forget, tomorrow night I will have the 4th polish swatch of this Series up, so make sure you come back :)

Thanks for visiting!

Dollish Polish Peachy Princess

As some of you may remember, I was lucky enough to be able to get a full Dollish Polish Mario Collection when it was first got released.  I did swatch It's me Mario already, and you can see that HERE.

Today I am going to swatch a Peachy Princess. Also, I going to swatch the remaining 6 colors over the next 6 days ...a Dollish Polish Marathon!

EDIT: This is three coats of China Glaze Naked topped with two coats of Peachy Princess. I did thin this one, but I usually thin all my Indie polishes.

I LOVE THIS!!! I layered it over China Glaze Naked, which is a gorgeous pink with hidden shimmer. Kelly got me this polish at Xmas time, and it's soooo pretty. I'm glad he purchased this for me, I would not have picked it for myself and it's gorgeous. A Peachy Princess was a perfect match for Naked.

PRETTY PRETTY :)

I work during daylight hours, so I do not have outside shots of this one (sorry). I bet in the sun this one dazzles.

Here is the full Mario Collection set....

Stay tuned and visit this time tomorrow night for the next polish...

Thanks for visiting and don't forget to come visit my new Facebook page and LIKE me :)

Indie Spotlight: Olympic Mani #2 Dollish Polish It's Me Mario

I have another Olympic Mani for you guys today. I received my Dollish Polish order yesterday. I had to wake up at 3:30AM in the morning to get in on the order, but it was so worth it!  I never get up that early for anything - except polish lol :) This is part of The Mario Brothers Collection. I was such a Nintendo freak when I was younger, and played Mario for more hours than I can count. I had to have this!

This is Dollish Polish It's Me Mario layered over Nicole by OPI In Your Hands. I found In Your Hands a few years back in the clearance section of TJ Maxx. It's a deep Blue jelly - yes, a Jelly! I thought it was the perfect base for Dollish Polish's It's Me Mario.

When I saw that this had red and blue glitter with silver stars, it made me think of team USA (sorry Mario - lol).

This is such an exciting polish. I did have to place the stars, but there are plenty in there so they surface quite easily. A little stirring, and stars stick to the brush. No real 'fishing' for them. The formula is smooth and easily applies.

Then I added a Matte top coat

GO TEAM USA!!!!

What do you guys think of this one. I love it.

As mentioned above I got the whole Dollish Polish Mario Collection, stay tuned and I will swatch them all soon as I am able to.
