Fanchormtic Nail Swatches

Press Sample (Fanchromatic Nails)
Purchased by Me (Models Own and Sation)

Today I have three awesome polishes from Fanchromatic Nails.

This is two coats of Raptor Girl on it's on, no base color needed for this one. To me, this reminds me of a fish tank lol. I loved this one and the formula was wonderful.  It brushed on beautifully and I had no issues with it at all. .

The next color is a really pretty Pink/Lavender polish with a Lavender and Gold shimmer. Gorgeou!!.

You can see the micro glitter Gold shimmer really well in this picture. I did have to layer this over a base coat and I used Sation Lilac That, which was a perfect match for this.

This is a medium shade of Grey with Silver, Light Blue, and Dark Blue Glitters.  I love the mix of glitters in this. It's very subtle and very pretty.

I did have to layer this over a Grey base of Models Own Grey Day. This was a los a perfect match for this polish.

Over all I had no issues with any of the formulas. I didn't have to use thinner on anything and they played very nicely with the base colors.

If you would like to Purchase for Fanchromtics you can visit their Etsy Shop.
You can also visit Fanchromatics on Facebook.

Thank you for visiting and I hope you are all having a Great Weekend!

Newspaper Nude by Naild'it!

Press Sample Purchased by Me

Tonight I have a really fun polish to share with you guys. This is Newspaper Nude, and was created by the wonderful Andrea of Naild'it. She sent this lovely polish over for my review. Tow thumbs up on this polish!!

This is 2 coats of Newspaper Nude over 2 coats of Grey Day by Model's Own.

This really does remind me of a newspaper... The grey paper and colorful ads...

The formula on this polish was a tiny bit thick. I did use 3 drops of thinner on it to get the glitters to spread better once I brushed them onto the Grey Day. I topped the manicure off with 2 coats of Seche Vite Top Coat.

I love the jelly like quality this one has as well. The base is actually pretty clear. To achieve the grey base look of the bottle, I simply layered it over Grey Day by Model's Own. It rained all day yesterday and all day today in the Mid-West, so Grey Day is the perfect polish for today :)

Newspaper Nude brought sparkle to my rainy day!

I also want to commend Andrea on the beautiful redesign of the bottle and label. Naild'it has went through a major facelift and transformation, and for the better! The bottles are now square with a non paper label. They are beautiful and classy looking.

Naild'it can be purchased from Llorowe.com or from The Naild'it Etsy Shop. Also, follow Naild'it on Facebook to get all the shop opening times and dates.

Do you guys like this one?

Trelly's M.I.S.C Trick or Trelly

Tonight we continue on with the Halloween polishes. I am going to try really hard to get ALL my Halloween polishes up before the 31st, but I make no promises lol. I also dressed the blog up for Halloween and I hope you guys like it. It's very obnoxious with colors, but Halloween is supposed to be flashy right?? lol.

Tonight I have Trelly's M.I.S.C.'s Trick or Trelly. How cute is that name, lol!! It's so perfect and so creative. I easily fall in love with polishes with cute names.

This is two coats of Model's Own Green Grass with two/three dabbed coats of Trick or Trelly. This is topped off with one thick coat of Seche Vite fast drying top coat.

I love bar glitter, and I know a lot of you just cringed lol. Bar glitters are not bad if you know how to apply them properly. I love how they add to the round and hex glitters in this.

BAR GLITTER TIP: I hate when you brush on bar glitter and they all point the same direction. TRY THIS. When you brush on a bar glitter, brush them on from cuticle to free edge AND then side to side as well. It helps to get your bar glitters pointing in different directions and not all the same (which does not look so great).

I love Trelly's, and this is no exception :) I purchased this off her ETSY shop, but Cassie, the owner, has moved over to Big Cartel. Check her new shop out HERE.

No need to fish for any glitters here, they easily stuck to the brush.  I did not thin this polish I usually do. The formula was thick, but for dabbing polish on it's better to have some thickness.

This is gorgeous and sparkly and one of my favorites that I have purchased for this Halloween season.

I will have more Trelly's up from the Fall Line as well, as soon as I get through all the Halloween ones LOL!!! :)

Hope you guys like this. Please leave your thoughts below. I look forward to reading everyone's comments every day!

Review of Trelly's M.I.S.C Spiked Witch's Brew

Halloween Manicures continue... Tonight's spotlight is Trelly's M.I.S.C Spiked Witch's Brew. As many of you know that follow me, I love these polishes. They have quickly climbed to the top of my favorites in my Indie Collection. You can purchase Trelly's HERE.

Spiked Witch's Brew!

This is two coats of Model's Own Lime Green with two coats of Spiked Witch. I love how this layering combination turned out.

I am a big fan of these matte 'sand' type polishes.

The color combo in this one is WOW. Teal Green, Black, White, Yellow....a GORGEOUS MIX!!!

I did not thin this polish. I wanted to layer it thickly on my base coat. This polish is so dense it really doesn't need a base. I almost wore it alone, but loved the thought of mixing it with Lime Green.

These 'sand' type polishes tend to dry with a gritty finish. I highly recommend Nail Pattern Boldness's Glitter Food topped with Seche Vite. You can get a really smooth finish this way.

Check out this close up ... Ba-BAM lol. I love this. I'm so glad this is part of my collection. What do you guys think of this? Do you like it with the Lime Green base? Leave your thoughts below in the comments. I really enjoy reading them all.

*Spiked Witch was sent to me for my honest Review*

Indie Spotlight: Lynnderella Connect The Dots

I'm still in my sickly death bed, literately. I've been in bed all day and Kelly has been making sure I have everything I need. I was lucky that he had off today, and the extra TLC is much appreciated! Maybe it will help chase this nasty cold off. BUT you know I couldn't just leave my nails alone.  As much as I loved the Model's Own Grey Day mani I had on, I HAD to add my new Lynnderella Connect the Dots on top.

I purchased this on the last sale over at Llarowe. I sat at my PC and refreshed the page every few seconds for an hour straight - what we do for nail polish lol!

I didn't do anything special here. Meaning, I did not try and spread the glitter in any specific place. Usually with these type of glitters you can take out an orange stick and manipulate the glitters where you like them to fall on the nail. In this case I specifically did not push the glitters around (expect from the free edge so I wouldn't have a mess) to see how it looked 'as is'. I was pretty pleased with the 'as is' results.

On to Untried Saturday. I have been deathly sick the last 48 hours, so I'm kind just laying low. I still squeezed in a mani - yippee:) Not my best, but much better than going without. I didn't even have my camera settings right. The cough medicine took over and just started snapping bad pictures - but I'm showing them to you anyway LOL!   I guess even being close to death does not stop me from painting my nails and trying to post here :)

Hope you guys like!

It's still very very pretty, and it basically applied its self.

It's a very soft pretty Grey

Don't forget to enter my 200 Followers Giveaway by following the picture link on the top of this post. I know those of you that have already entered and read my blog regularly will probably hate me by the 29th, but I will be adding reminders in my every post until the contest is over. I have had VERY few entries, so the chances of winning are GREAT!

Wet n Wild Black with Models Own Mixed Up

Today I wanted to do something really fun. I was going for a night sky look, and I think I achieved it. I started out with Wet n Wild Black. This is truly the best black to use for layering. It's super cheap and readily available at drugstores. My base coat is Essie 'Feed Me' and then a coat of Barielle's Camo. There is no top coat on this, and look how shiny it is!!!!

I took these pictures indoor.  Not my favorite way to take pictures, but I work full time during the week and it is always dark by the time I get home. Darn winter *Shakes fist at Winter* lol!

The next picture makes me giggle. It looks like I have hair, and other foreign things stuck to my nails, but it's really just the glare off the awesome Shine (and remember this is without a top coat)!

I love how easily this applies and how smooth and shiny it is. This is the perfect black in my book. It is opaque in one thick coat or two thin coats (which is what I have done).

I then topped it off with Models Own Mixed Up. Though the Mixed up looks like it's in an opaque black base, it is not. This needs to be topped on another color. You definitely have to wear underwear with this. So far I have only tested it on black.

I took these pictures outside once I topped it with the Mixed Up. Since it fell on a weekend I got daylight :) I wonder if I'm the only one that goes outside in the cold with a big baggy coat on to take pictures of my hands lol! I'm greatful I live in the country and my neighbors can not see me running around my deck snapping 100 pictures of my hand holding a nail polish bottle.

This came out sooooo Sparkly. I tried my best to capture this with my photos, but IRL they are amazing!!!

It has gorgeous Holo glitter that flashes so many colors (Silver, Green, Blue, Red etc). It looks like a night sky and has an awesome twinkling star effect.

I am very very very pale. Ghostly White to be honest lol. You can see that my fingers are a little red here as it was getting REALLY cold outside. My hands were freezing LOL! I do not Photo Shop my pictures. I only use Picasa 3 to crop, straighten and sometimes do auto contrast. I usually just straighten and crop as I'm too lazy to do much of anything else - ha. I also add titles when needed.

I also topped this with a coat of Barielle's Manicure Extender, and it has been shining ever since (I did the Black Mani on Friday and then topped it with Mixed up and Manicure Extender on Saturday and took pictures)

Thanks so much for visiting!

and FINALLY (lol) - Models Own Emerald City

I actually placed an order months ago for these and I'm so glad I did. This color is BEYOND amazing. Emerald City. To me it flash both green and blue - depending on the light. I took some in direct Sunlight and some in Shade.  I identified Sun and Shade on the pictures so it's clear.

How Gorgeous is this.  Pics of this is tough. I know in some I look a little "orange" but if you have the color off it looks blue, so there is no way to avoid it. I rather the polish have an accurate color more than my skin LOL. It's a very flashy bright green for sure. Like a Shamrock green - MONEY green and I apologize I did my best on the pics, just add more true green :)

Now for some Shade Shots
